Mean monthly minimum temperatures for nearby Fitzroy Crossing range between 11°C (July) and 25°C (December) and mean maxima range between 30°C (June/July) and 41°C (November). The average annual rainfall reported for a weather station located in the centre of Mornington is 711 mm.
