Mornington Sanctuary
Aboriginal people have occupied the land for thousands of years. An indigenous community still lives within Mornington, in a small community called Tirralintji. Since 1901 Mornington has been managed primarily for cattle grazing. AWC acquired Mornington in 2001 through a generous donation from a Perth businessman. Management of the property has been modified to promote conservation of biodiversity.
