AWC is entered in the Register of Environmental Organisations, maintained by the Federal Department of Environment and Heritage, and has been granted deductible gift recipient status by the Australian Tax Office. This means that all donations of AU$2 or more to AWC are tax deductible.

As a registered charity, AWC activities are funded primarily by tax deductible donations from individuals and organisations across Australia. Accordingly, the continued success of AWC will depend upon the support we receive from organisations and individuals like you!
AWC is committed to the effective and efficient stewardship of donors' funds. We know that our supporters want their donations to support practical, on-ground programs such as land acquisition, feral animal control, weed eradication, fire management and the translocation of endangered species.
Over 90% of AWC's total expenditure is incurred on our conservation programs. Less than 10% goes on development (fundraising) and administration combined. This is an exceptional record which, we believe, sets the standard for non-government organizations involved in land acquisition and management. AWC supporters can therefore have confidence that their donations will make a difference where it counts – conservation programs in the field.
There are various ways you can support AWC:

- Make a single tax-deductible donation.
- Help to establish a workplace giving (payroll deductions) program.
- Make a donation of property, such as shares or real estate.>
- Make a bequest to AWC.
- Become a corporate partner.

Donors and supporters receive our regular newsletter (Wildlife Matters) and e-Bulletin (if they wish) and are welcome to participate in AWC events and volunteer programs.
