Making a Donation
Your donation to AWC is tax deductible.
AWC prides itself on its stewardship of donors’ funds, with some 89% of our total expenditure being incurred on conservation programs and 11% going to fundraising and administration combined (source: 2006/07 Financial Statements). Accordingly, your donation will make a difference where it counts – by helping save wildlife at our sanctuaries.
All of our donors receive the AWC newsletter, Wildlife Matters, and special e-Bulletins containing updates on AWC projects. Donors can elect not to receive these publications or to receive them electronically.
Become a Regular Monthly Donor
One of the most cost-effective ways to support AWC is to become a regular monthly donor. Regular monthly donations allow us to plan ahead and to reduce paperwork, ensuring a high percentage of funds are allocated to conservation. You can become a regular monthly donor by authorising AWC to either:
- charge a specific amount to your credit card each month; or
- make a direct debit of that amount from your bank account each month.
You can cancel the monthly donation, or vary the amount or the manner of payment, at any time. At the end of the financial year, we will send you a summary of your donations and a tax receipt.
Make A Single Donation
Making a single tax deductible donation to AWC is easy to do and will help us implement key programs to protect Australia’s threatened wildlife and ecosystems. AWC will send you a receipt for your donation.
