Weed control at Bowra
Mexican poppy weed with native Austral bluebells.
Bowra is relatively weed free, with the exception of buffel grass. African Boxthorn trees also occur around the old homestead and Mexican Poppy infests the disturbed ground beside roads and tracks in certain places. AWC control measures have been implemented to map and eradicate these weeds, to the extent practicable.
