Area and Location
Wongalara is located on the southern border of Arnhem Land in the north-eastern corner of the Roper District. The homestead is situated approximately 295 km by road east of Katherine (population 10,000) and is approximately 615 km south east of Darwin. The homestead is approximately 11/2 hours flying time to Darwin in a single engine light plane.
