Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) is seeking a conservation ecologist who is motivated work with Traditional Owners, Ranger Groups and other partners to conserve Australia’s wildlife in the vast, remote and biologically intact landscape of the Kimberley, north-west Australia. Reporting to the Regional Ecologist – North-west, the Wildlife Ecologist North-west will work as a part of a team of ecologists responsible for implementing AWC’s science program in the Kimberley, WA.

AWC is seeking an energetic and committed Land Management Officer to assist in the implementation of a range of land management programs (fire management including prescribed burning and wildfire suppression, feral animal control and weed management) at Charnley River Wildlife Sanctuary, this is an on-going position. This is an exciting opportunity to carry out land management that is closely integrated with comprehensive science and monitoring programs in one of Australia’s most important ecological regions.

AWC is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Sanctuary Manager to be based at Scotia Wildlife Sanctuary, Far West NSW. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager SE, and ultimately to the Chief Operations Officer, the ideal candidate will be a very practical person with a passion for saving Australia’s wildlife and landscapes. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to manage people and co-ordinate major projects simultaneously and integrate these projects with AWC’s science program.
