What did you do before AWC?
I previously worked for the WA government’s environmental department where I was involved in the conservation and management of threatened species. Previous to that I spent a year in Lombok doing environmental education in a remote community.
Favourite animal protected by AWC
Western Barred Bandicoot.
Favourite place on an AWC sanctuary
Anywhere remotely rocky, although I’m partial to the Salmon Gum woodlands and rocky outcrops at Mt Gibson.
Top three animals you would like to see (or have seen) in the wild
Top three animals you would like to see (or have seen) in the wild: A Capybara, Saiga antelope and a weaner elephant seal.
If you could visit any three places on the planet
Macquarie Island, The Sahara Desert (via the Atlas Mountains in Morocco), and any/all of the national parks and reserves in Chile.
Other interesting stuff
I once dreamt I was a zip file.
